The Chinese national, identified as 60-year-old Li Jiaqi, was caught near Bairiya bus stand in Brahmapura police station area of the city. Police have also recovered a mobile phone and other items from him.
During interrogation, Li Jiaqi confessed that he had entered Bihar through Nepal border. However, the police are having trouble interrogating him because Lee does not know much English.
The police, which is trying to find out how he reached Muzaffarpur and who helped him, will take the help of an interpreter to interrogate him. At present he has been kept in the custody of Brahmapura police.
