Narayanpur (Chhattisgarh) [India], Maoists set fire to a mobile tower in Durmi village of Narayanpur district late Saturday night, a senior police officer said.
Narayanpur Superintendent of Police Prabhat Kumar said that the incident took place in Dhaudai police station area, officials reached the spot and the search operation was intensified.
Earlier on May 27, Naxalites had set on fire two under-construction mobile towers in Gaurdand and Chameli villages of Chhotadongar police station area of Narayanpur.
On May 25, two Naxalites were killed in an encounter with security forces in the forests of Jappemaarka and Kamkanar in Bijapur.
