Making some strong comments, he said that though the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) and the Congress did very well in the LS polls, “the upcoming Assembly battle will not be easy.”

“Congress has now become the largest party in the state. But we still have to work aggressively for the upcoming Assembly elections. Don’t relax and start working hard from today,” Chennithala urged.

Chennithala, who held a review meeting of the Maharashtra Pradesh Youth Congress, said the role of the youth wing was crucial to strengthen the party organization at all levels.

“The Youth Congress has a long tradition and great responsibility in elections. They take on the work of the party, including field work and door-to-door canvassing to get voters to polling stations. There are just 90 days left until the Assembly elections and they must be activated immediately,” she urged the young brigade.

This would include holding meetings in all six divisions, districts, blocks, panchayat and booths of the state, and planning campaigns and programs to convey the party's ideology to the masses.

Maintaining that ordinary people are with the MVA and there are clear indicators that they want change, she said this "will require a fight as victory will not be easy."

She also assured that the demands of the youth will be considered to give them more representation or present new faces in the Assembly elections, with the winning potential of each candidate as the main criterion.

“Now, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's acceptance is declining, while opposition leader Rahul Gandhi's popularity is increasing. If the Congress flag is hoisted in Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Haryana, it will shake the throne of Delhi,” Chennithala declared.

Besides Chennithala, top party leaders like Indian Youth Congress president BV Srinivas, State Youth Congress chief Kunal Raut, state general secretary Brij Dutt, Krishna Allavaru, Siddharth Hattiambire, Shrikrishna Sangle, MP Chandrakant Handore and others also attended or spoke at the detailed review. .
