Party leaders welcomed Naidu when he reached Begumpet airport in a special flight from New Delhi.

Carrying TDP flags and banners and chanting "Jai Jai Babu", his supporters cheered as he came out of the airport and boarded his vehicle. They had also brought a big garland for him.

Standing outside the sunroof of his car, the Chief Minister waved towards the crowd.

Amid tight security and despite rain, the rally continued from the airport, passing through busy Begumpet Road, Panjagutta and Banjara Hills to reach the TDP headquarters NTR Trust Bhawan.

Huge cutouts and banners of Naidu were installed at the NTR Trust building to welcome Naidu on his first visit after taking over as the chief minister last month.

Naidu had written that he looked forward to working closely with them to resolve post-partition issues and enhance cooperation. And to facilitate progress in both the Telugu speaking states. Revanth Reddy agreed that it was necessary to resolve all the pending issues of the Partition Act.
