Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh): YSR Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday alleged that TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu is colluding with BJP state president D Purandeswari to stop the distribution of welfare schemes in Andhra Pradesh.



He made this allegation during a public meeting as part of his election campaign in Rajanagaram in East Godavari district.



"They are pressurizing the Election Commission to stop Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) financial assistance on ongoing welfare schemes like state pension and input subsidy," he said while addressing a public meeting.



Noting that people were watching the 'drama' being staged by Naidu, Reddy said the opposition leader was allegedly using the Delhi-based alliance partner (BJP) to stir up major controversies to cause pain to the people. are doing.



He alleged that people who have been getting welfare pension at their doorstep for the last five years are now being forced to run from door to door to collect it.



Keeping these difficulties in mind, the CM asked the elderly people to respond with double strength while voting to bring them back to power to restore pension services.



Claiming that the TDP chief is behind these conspiracies, the YSRCP chief said this is a sign of a new decline in democracy.

Further, Reddy said that YSRCP will gain power on June 4 and will speed up the distribution of all welfare schemes within no time.



TDP, BJP and Janasena are part of NDA in Andhra Pradesh.



Elections are to be held on May 13 for 175 assembly seats and 25 Lok Sabha seats in the state.
