The Bajaj Center of Excellence for Engineering Skills Training (BEST) to be set up on the university campus will bring the academy closer to the industry. Its four-phase program has been prepared by Bajaj Auto.

Admission will be based on merit, there will also be a provision for scholarship. World class trainers will train the students.

"The skills of the students have to be developed. The students are entering the industry by getting world-class training. With passing the course, they will have two to three job offers. The latest equipment will be here and there will be practical knowledge in which they can work on the machines. Will work and get better job opportunities in the country itself,” said Hridayash Deshpande, Director General, Chandigarh University.
