The MOU outlines a collaborative framework to provide testing services, training and execute a collaborative project on “Research studies for standardization of selected higher-order drugs”.

The AYUSH ministry said the partnership aims to test selected raw drugs and finished products for drug standardization.

It will also provide NABL accreditation training guidance to CIM&H's laboratory.

Rabinarayan Acharya, Director General, CCRAS, Chennai said, “This MoU between CCRAS and CIM&H has set an example for other states in India to also come forward and partner with CCRAS, MoAYUSH for various research and development activities. Can join hands with."

This MoU is an important step towards strengthening the collaborative efforts between these premier institutions, and aims to enhance the quality and safety of Ayurvedic and Homeopathic medicines; promoting collaborative research initiatives; and capacity building and knowledge exchange.
