New Delhi: The CBI has arrested NHAI General Manager Purushottam Lal Choudhary, posted in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, in a Rs 10 lakh bribery case, officials said on Sunday.
He said that on Saturday evening, six other accused including NHAI consultant and his resident engineer, four employees of a private company were also arrested in the bribery case.
The accused were taking bribe for handing over the final bill of Jhansi-Khajuraho project given by the National Highways Association of India to the said private company, issuing No Objection Certificate and processing the final bill.
