Barcelona: Indian rider Kavin Quintal will look to notch another top-10 finish at the FIM JuniorGP World Championship STK European Class event at the Circuit de Catalunya here on Saturday.

After finishing in the top 10 in the last race in Portugal, Cavin from the India Honda Talent Acquisition Program looks to continue his success with the Fifty Motorsport team at the two-day event here.

After missing the opening round, Kevin crashed in the second round of the qualifying session and was relegated to P30 on the starting grid.

But the Chennai rider, who recently turned 19, overcame almost two rivals in the wet conditions and broke into the top-10.

Riding since the age of 13, Kevin is the youngest rider to earn points at the India Nationals and has won Idemitsu Honda Talent Cup championship titles in 2021 and 2023.

“We are trying to deliver strong results in the upcoming races,” Kevin said.

Qualifying sessions are scheduled for Saturday, leading up to the main race in the Stock European class on Sunday.
