New Delhi, Lubes maker Castrol on Tuesday said it has appointed Kedar Lele as managing director of the company for five years from November 1, 2024.

Lele replaces Sandeep Sangwan, who will step down effective October 31, 2024, to pursue another role within BP.

Lele will join Castrol from October 1, 2024 and will work closely with Sangwan for a smooth transition before taking over as managing director from November 1, 2024, the company said in a regulatory filing.

It said that Lele has joined Castrol from Hindustan Unilever Limited.
