Suraj Revanna Former Prime Minister H.D. Is the grandson of. Deve Gowda and younger brother of Prajwal Revanna, the main accused in the sex video scandal.
Suraj Revanna's associate Shivakumar H.L. has filed a case against a JD activist who has alleged that Suraj Revanna sexually assaulted her and has filed a case against his family members at Holenarasipura police station.
The complainant said that the accused had gone to Suraj Revanna's farmhouse for a job on June 16. When the accused did not get the job, he asked Suraj Revanna to give him Rs 5 crore failing which he would file a case of sexual harassment against the leader.
The complainant claimed that the accused later reduced the "extortion" amount to Rs 2.5 crore.
Police have registered a case under IPC sections 384 (extortion) and 506 (criminal intimidation) and 34 (criminal act by several persons).
However, while speaking to media persons, the accused said, "Sooraj Revanna was impressed by me because I had organized an event in my village. We shared mobile numbers and after that Sooraj messaged me to meet him. I asked him to meet me. where did it go." At their farmhouse, where I was sexually abused."
