New Delhi [India], July 4: Aashayein Foundation, founded by Siddharth Rajhans, has launched a new vision of CSR by making financial access to higher education possible for secondary school children. Launched on July 24, it is backed by CSR funds in collaboration with venture capital networks. Through innovative initiatives and strategic partnerships, the foundation is creating a platform for knowledge sharing, fostering research and empowering academic institutions.

Launched in 2016, the foundation launched a new project on Monday, July 1, 24 called "Abhilasha", to promote children from economically marginalized segments of the society in academic disciplines.

“The idea is to help children from grades 9 to 12 with funding for higher education,” mentions Siddharth Sir.

Students who achieve brilliant academic results can reach out to them and depending on their family's annual income, the foundation will help them with impact-oriented funding through venture capital networks under the CSR framework.

“We are happy to launch this branch and aim to create a superior learning environment within our local community,” he adds.

The Foundation has been working to promote collaboration between academic institutions in India and their counterparts around the world. This may involve faculty exchange programs, joint research projects, and student exchange initiatives. These collaborations allow for the cross-pollination of ideas, the sharing of best practices, and the development of innovative solutions to real-world problems.

Siddharth Rajhans adds, "However, a major point was that many talented students had to give up on their dreams of higher education due to lack of funding." Today, the Indian business landscape has created very collaborative and helpful venture capital institutions.

Many of these investors believe in financing the “bus driver” and not the “bus.” "Therefore, we feel that if we could organize this sector and offer grants in our country like the US university endowment system, we could have a breakthrough in higher education and research," the foundation emphasizes.

His partner adds: "The foundation also works closely with industry partners to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. This collaboration ensures that academic research is relevant to industry needs and that graduates are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career."

We aspire to generate social transformations through innovations in six sectors: satellite Internet, artificial intelligence, augmented reality/virtual reality, machine learning/deep learning, big data, data analytics and predictive analytics.

The launch was attended by prominent dignitaries from industry, academia and government. They all praised that this will transform the funding crisis in the academic and research sectors.
