Thane, Maharashtra A real estate developer has been booked for allegedly defrauding flat buyers of Rs 3.82 crore in Thane. A police officer gave this information on Thursday.

He is accused of taking Rs 30.33 lakh from the complainant for a flat, registering it in his name and then selling it to some other people, Naupada police station officer said.

He said, "Our investigation has revealed that he has used this method to sell and resell six flats. The total amount involved is Rs 3.82 crore. A case of fraud has been registered, however, the real estate developer Has not been arrested yet."
