Firozpur (Punjab) [India], Border Security Force (BSF) on Saturday recovered a Chinese-made drone along with a pistol in Firozpur district of Punjab.
The recovered drone has been identified as a China-made DJI Mavic-3 Classic.
"On June 22, 2024, BSF Intelligence Wing shared information about the presence of a drone with a suspicious packet in the border area of District Firozpur. In quick response, BSF troops reached the spot and conducted an extensive search operation. An official press release said.
It said that during the search, at around 10:40 am, the troops successfully recovered a drone with a packet in an agricultural field adjacent to Lakha Singh Wala village in Firozpur district.
The packet was wrapped in yellow adhesive tape and contained a small plastic flashlight with a metal ring attached to it. Upon inspection of the packet, a pistol (without barrel) and an empty pistol magazine were found inside.
Meanwhile, a Pakistani drone along with heroin was recovered in a joint operation by BSF and Punjab Police on Saturday.
