Firozpur (Punjab) [India], Border Security Force (BSF) on Saturday recovered a Chinese-made drone along with a pistol in Firozpur district of Punjab.

The recovered drone has been identified as a China-made DJI Mavic-3 Classic.

"On June 22, 2024, BSF Intelligence Wing shared information about the presence of a drone with a suspicious packet in the border area of ​​District Firozpur. In quick response, BSF troops reached the spot and conducted an extensive search operation. An official press release said.

It said that during the search, at around 10:40 am, the troops successfully recovered a drone with a packet in an agricultural field adjacent to Lakha Singh Wala village in Firozpur district.

The packet was wrapped in yellow adhesive tape and contained a small plastic flashlight with a metal ring attached to it. Upon inspection of the packet, a pistol (without barrel) and an empty pistol magazine were found inside.

Meanwhile, a Pakistani drone along with heroin was recovered in a joint operation by BSF and Punjab Police on Saturday.
