Bhuj (Gujarat): The Border Security Force (BSF) on Wednesday morning detained a Pakistani national in Gujarat's Kutch district when he was trying to enter India by crossing the border fence. An officer gave this information.

After the detention, BSF said in an official statement, the Pakistani national is being interrogated.

The person has been identified as 30-year-old Afzal, a resident of Sialkot, Pakistan. A BSF officer said that nothing suspicious was found from him.

"At around 7.15 am, the BSF sentry spotted a Pakistani man trying to enter Indian territory by crossing the border fence near Vighakot (in Kutch). On receiving the message from the sentry, BSF jawans reached the spot and arrested the Pakistani. Took national,” the officer said.
