Sridhar Reddy was murdered by unknown persons in Lakshmipalli village of Chinnambavi mandal. BRS leader T. Harish Rao expressed deep condolences to the family of Sridhar Reddy.

He alleged that within five months of the Congress government coming to power, two BRS leaders were killed in Kolhapur constituency.

He said that BRS leaders and workers have been attacked at many places. Asserting that there is no room for assassination politics in a democracy, the former minister said such attacks will not stop BRS from raising its voice on people's issues.

He assured BRS workers that the party will stand with them. The BRS leader demanded immediate investigation into the politically motivated murders and strict punishment to the accused.

BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao along with other BRS leaders rushed to Wanaparthy district to console Sridhar Reddy's family.

BRS Nagarkurnool MP candidate and former IPS officer R.S. Praveen Kumar alleges that the latest murder took place just 10 days after the party complained to the Director General of Police that there was a serious threat to the lives of BR leaders.

He alleged that the murders were orchestrated by Chief Minister A. This is happening with the encouragement of Revanth Reddy and Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao. He demanded the dismissal of Krishna Rao from the cabinet.
