BENGALURU: Realty firm Brigade Group on Thursday said it has formed a partnership to develop a housing project in Bengaluru with an estimated revenue of Rs 720 crore.

In a statement, the company said it has signed a joint development agreement (JDA) to develop a residential project spread over 6.9 acres, with a total development potential of approximately 0.8 million sq ft and a gross development value of Rs 720 crore. (GDV).

The company did not share the name of the land owner with whom it had entered into the JDA.

The land is located in the prime neighborhood of Old Madras Road.

“We are seeing a continued demand for housing due to the need for a home with more space and practical amenities at strategic locations,” said Pavitra Shankar, managing director of Brigade Group.

“This new residential development reflects our ongoing efforts to meet this demand by providing quality homes that meet customer needs,” he said.

Brigade Group has a pipeline of new launches of approximately 12.61 million sq ft in the residential sector in Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad.

Established in 1986, Brigade Enterprises Limited is one of India's leading property developers.

Brigade has developed several projects in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mysore Kochi, GIFT City-Gujarat, Thiruvananthapuram, Mangaluru and Chikkamagaluru.

It is into development of residential, office, retail and hotel properties.
