Presentation of the 25 years coffee table book

BENGALURU, July 8, 2024 – The Bothra Foundation proudly commemorates its 25th anniversary, a quarter of a century of unwavering dedication to community service. Established on July 7, 1999 by Mr. C.P. Bothra, the Foundation has evolved from a modest clinic to a comprehensive healthcare provider, significantly impacting lives in Jaibharath Nagar, Bengaluru and beyond.

Inspired by his father, the late Shri Chandanmalji Bothra, a Vaidya devotee from Rajasthan, Mr. C.P. Bothra founded the Bothra Foundation with the vision of alleviating suffering and providing high-quality, accessible healthcare. Over the past 25 years, the Foundation has expanded its reach, regularly serving more than 24,700 registered patients through clinics specializing in diabetes, diabetic foot care, dental care, cardiology, orthopedics, physiotherapy, otolaryngology, ophthalmology, palliative care and more.The achievements of the Foundation are worthy of mention: more than 18,800 cataract surgeries, 14,000 glaucoma cases treated, 15,500 foot care treatments, diabetes control of more than 179,500 people, 16,000 physiotherapy sessions, 6,000 services of dental care and more than 80 life-saving surgeries at no cost to patients. In particular, the diabetic foot care program has a 100% success rate in preventing amputations. Dr. Veena G, Medical Director of Bothra Foundation, has ably led the medical center for the past 25 years and champions these community-driven initiatives, which are vital to the continued success and expansion of its services.

During the great silver jubilee celebration, a video showing the Foundation's 25 years of history was published, along with a commemorative coffee table book. The grand celebration was graced by the chief guest, Mr. Dilip Surana, Chairman and Managing Director, Micro Labs Ltd., along with distinguished doctors, his family and numerous well-wishers. The video and coffee table book capture the Foundation's impactful journey, showcasing the stories of those it has helped and the dedication of its volunteers and staff. Senior doctors of all specialties and their medical and paramedical teams were felicitated for their selfless services at Bothra Foundation Medical Center and the institutions it held.
