The bodies of nine trekkers from Karnataka, who lost their lives due to bad weather in Bengaluru, Uttarakhand, were brought to Bengaluru via Delhi on Friday. The officers provided this information.

The deceased have been identified as Padmini Hegde, Venkatesh Prasad, Asha Sudhakar, Padmanabha Kundapur Krishnamurthy, Sindhu Vakekalam, Vinayak Mungurwadi, Sujata Mungurwadi, Chitra Praneeth and Anita Rangappa, he said.
