Hathras (UP), District Magistrate Ashish Kumar said here on Thursday that the bodies of all the victims of the Hathras stampede have been identified and handed over to their families.
A total of 121 people, mostly women, were killed after a stampede at the satsang of self-styled Baba Bhole in Hathras on Tuesday.
"Three bodies were unidentified till Wednesday. Two of them were identified late in the night," Kumar said on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the family has identified a body at Aligarh Hospital over video call and they are going to the hospital, he said.
According to officials, the crowd at the gathering was more than 2.5 lakh, while the permitted limit was 80,000 people.
