" He claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party's manifesto will win all five Lok Sabha constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir and one seat in Ladakh. Congress will contest from Jammu, Udhampur and Ladakh parliamentary constituencies, while National Conference will contest from Anantnag-Rajouri, Srinaga and Baramulla Lok Sabha seats.DMK and TMC, who are with us on Article 370, BJP did not lose hope when it had only 2 Lok Sabha seats, so why should we lose? The former CM said that the BJP, in its election manifesto-'Sankalp Patra', has vowed to implement the Union Civil Code (UCC) and bring permanent peace in the Northeast, among other key election promises. The party released its manifesto at its headquarters on Sunday. Several Union ministers and senior officials, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, were sitting in the audience in New Delhi. The state of Jammu and Kashmir was bifurcated into two union territories – Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh following the Centre's historic decision to abrogate special constitutional privileges under Article 370 in October 2019.
