Hyderabad: BJP candidates Eatala Rajender and DK Aruna on Thursday filed their nominations for the Lok Sabha elections in Telangana, where voting is scheduled on May 13.

Voting for the 17th Lok Sabha of Telangana will be held in a single phase on May 13, with nominations accepted from April 18 to 25. The scrutiny of nomination papers will be done on April 26 and the last date for withdrawal of nominations is April 29.

Union minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Telangana BJP president G Kishan Reddy, also a Union minister, attended a rally ahead of filing of nomination by Rajendra as party candidate from Malkajgiri constituency.

Describing Malkajgiri as 'mini-India' (as people from different states of the country live there), Puri said Rajendra is a popular and experienced leader.

He appreciated the good work of Rajendra as the State Health Minister (in the previous BR government) during the Covid-19 pandemic and expressed confidence that Rajendra's experience will be used in Delhi also after being elected as a Lok Sabha member. Will go.

Puri said, "He (Rajender) will not only work for Telangana but will also contribute to Modi ji's efforts for the development of the country."

Rajendra joined BJP in 2021.

DK Aruna filed his nomination as BJP candidate from Mahabubnaga parliamentary constituency.

He was also accompanied by BJP Rajya Sabha member and BJP Parliamentary Board member K Laxman.

Saying that several railway projects were completed in Mahabubnagar during Narendra Modi's tenure, Aruna appealed to the voters to elect her to complete the ongoing railway works and achieve other development goals.
