According to the Election Commission of India (ECI), voting will also be held for 35 assembly constituencies of the Odisha Legislative Assembly. Over 8.95 crore voters, including 4.69 crore men, 4.26 crore women and 5409 third-gender voters, will decide the fate of 695 candidates in the fifth phase of voting, according to the ECI simultaneously on Monday.Voting for 23 states (Union Territories) and 379 PCS in the first four phases of the general elections was completed smoothly and peacefully. With the conclusion of the four phases, voting for the general elections is halfway completed, with voting completed in 23 states/UTs and 379 parliamentary constituencies.
