"Then he raised the old issue of foreign funding to the party and through his Haryana government, the BJP has stopped the supply of Yamuna water to Delhi," he alleged.

Atishi said the matter came to light when he started receiving complaints of water shortage even from areas where such issues had never arisen before. She said that she will write to the Haryana government on Wednesday itself. If no action is taken from their side, they will immediately file an application in the Supreme Court.

“The level of Yamuna in Wazirabad mostly remains at 674 feet and even when it is lowest it remains at 672 feet. But on May 11, it was at 671.6 feet and remained at the same level for three days. On May 14 and 15, it was at 671.9 feet and then on May 16 it dropped to 671.3 feet and then in the next three days it dropped by 671 feet,” Atishi said.

"On May 21, perhaps for the first time in history, the water level of Yamuna reached 670.9 feet," he said.

Atishi accused the BJP of doing this to "malign the image of the AA government" and "to harass the people of Delhi".

“They want to create water crisis in the capital.I want to warn the people of Delhi that more such things will happen in the coming days till May 25. They will do this to woo voters. I want to tell BJP that you cannot fool the people of Delhi,” he said.
