New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday claimed that the BJP has launched a campaign - "Operation Jhadu" - to crush the Aam Aadmi Party as the saffron party sees AAP as a challenge.

Addressing party workers and leaders ahead of AAP's proposed protest march at the BJP headquarters here, he said there would be big challenges ahead and asked the cadre to be prepared to face them.

He said, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi is worried about the rise of AAP. This party has grown very fast. He has started 'Operation Jhadu' to crush the party. In the coming times, our bank accounts will be frozen and we will be sidelined. Will be done." That way our office will also be taken away,” he said.

"There will be big challenges ahead. Please be prepared to face them. Remember one thing that we have faced many challenges in the past. We have the blessings of Lord Hanuman and God. We do not survive these. On the path of truth Let's go. We want to work for the society," he told them.

Kejriwal, who is on interim bail in the excise policy case, had on Saturday said he and other AAP leaders would go to the BJP headquarters on March 19 "so that the Prime Minister can send whoever he wants to jail".

"We will march peacefully to the BJP headquarters and if the police stop us, we will sit there. We will wait for half an hour and see if they arrest us. If they do not arrest us, it will be their defeat." You can send Jai messages to everyone and see for yourself whether the party ends or grows further, he said.

Recalling his stay in Tihar Jail, Kejriwal said that he read Bhagavad Gita twice and Ramayana once.
