Mumbai, Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, BJP MLA Ashish Shelar met Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and his family members and discussed the social work being done by him in the field of healthcare and helping needy persons.

In a post on X on Sunday, Shelar mentioned his meeting with the Khan family over lunch.

The Bandra (West) MLA also posted a picture in which he is seen with the actor and his father, renowned screenwriter Salim Khan.

"Delighted to meet Mr. Salim Khan Ji, Mrs. Helen Ji, @BeingSalmanKhan and family over lunch and discuss his social work in the areas of health care and assistance to the needy - started by Salim Ji and carried out for two decades. Done with honesty,” the Mumbai BJP chief said in the post.

Voting for all six Lok Sabha seats in Mumbai will be held in the last phase on May 20.

Maharashtra has 48 Lok Sabha seats, the second highest after 80 in Uttar Pradesh.
