Patna (Bihar) [India], Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on Friday said the Bharatiya Janata Party is against reservation, adding that it was the Grand Alliance government which had increased the reservation quota to 75 per cent.

Speaking at RJD's foundation day programme, Tejashwi accused BJP of stopping the increase in reservation in Bihar.

"If anyone increased the reservation quota to 75 per cent, it was the Grand Alliance government. BJP is against reservation. After the NDA-BJP government came to power in Bihar, it stopped the reservation increase in the state. That is why we RJD The leader said, "We have been saying that BJP is not only against Bihar but also against reservation."

He further said that Rashtriya Janata Dal is the only party which has neither compromised nor surrendered before BJP.

"People of Janata Dal (U) due to greed for power compromised their ideology and entered into alliance with BJP. Rashtriya Janata Dal is the only party which has neither compromised nor surrendered to BJP. Power It's not the greatest thing to live in." Our fight is for those who are weak and deprived."

The RJD leader said that RJD's vote share has increased by 9 percent in the Lok Sabha elections.

"In the Lok Sabha elections, our vote share increased by 9 per cent, while NDA's vote share decreased by 6 per cent. Today, RJD has won 4 seats. We could have won more. Still, our alliance has won 9 seats." In this Lok Sabha election,” he said.

Today RJD is celebrating its 28th year of establishment. RJD came into existence on 5 July 1997.
