Imphal: According to the Election Commission, on Tuesday morning the BJP was leading in the Inner Manipur seat, while its ally Naga People's Front (NPF) was leading in the Outer Manipur seat.
BJP candidate Thounaojam Basantkumar is leading over his nearest rival Congress' Angomcha Bimol Akoijam by 4,530 votes in the Inner Manipur seat.
NPF candidate Katchui Timothy Zimik is leading by 14,804 votes over his nearest rival Alfred Kannagam S Arthur of Congress in Outer Manipur seat.
