New Delhi: The BJP on Sunday accused Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury of indulging in "political extortion" and cited a video in which he had reportedly said that if they send money to Adani and Ambani, he will pay them Rs. Might consider stopping attacking.

BJP co-in-charge for West Bengal Amit Malviya posted a video of Chaudhary's recent interview with a YouTube channel on 'X' in this regard, saying, "He exposes the Congress and says that They will stop attacking Adani-Ambani the moment they give them money." Congress".

“Of the two, Rahul Gandhi has already stopped attacking one,” he said.

Malviya further wrote on X, 'The actions of Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary of Congress are no less than political extortion.'

"This is on par with the actions of TMC's Mahua Moitra, who allegedly took money and expensive gifts from a Dubai-based businessman to attack Indian business in Parliament," he said.

Taking aim at Choudhary's reported remarks, BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla hit out at the Congress and said, "INC (Indian National Congress) means 'I want corruption'."

He described Choudhary's comments as the Congress's "real hafta recovery" and took aim at the grand old party and other constituents of the Indian opposition faction on the issue of corruption.
