Sasaram (Bihar), A court in Bihar's Rohtas district on Thursday awarded death sentence to two brothers in a nearly three-year-old triple murder.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Inderjit Singh awarded death sentence to Sonal and Aman Singh, residents of Rekhalon village, for their involvement in the July 2021 incident.
According to Additional Public Prosecutor Sunil Kumar, the crime took place when the brothers and their father Ajay Singh forcibly carried out agricultural activities on the land of Vijay Singh and his sons Deepak and Rakesh.
"Vijay Singh and his sons - Deepak and Rakesh - protested, leading to the Fata brawl, where all three were beaten to death by Ajay Singh and his sons Vijay Singh's wife Shakuntala Devi lodged an FIR against the accused "On the basis of evidence and testimony of witnesses, Sonal and Aman Singh were awarded death sentence, while Ajay Singh is absconding," Kumar said.
