Speaking to ANI, Arvind Singh said, "We are preparing for tomorrow's excitement. We have ordered 401 kg of laddus. 20 employees are preparing our order."

The JDU leader said, 'PM Modi had earlier said to keep laddus for June 4 and distribute them among the people of Patna on the day of results.'

Earlier in the day, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence in the national capital.

Nitish Kumar's JDU had contested the elections in alliance with BJP. The first contested elections on 16 seats and the second on 17 seats. Bihar sends 40 members to the Lok Sabha. Voting took place in all seven phases in the state.

Kumar returned to the NDA earlier this year and was sworn in as Bihar CM in August 2022 with the support of the BJP after quitting the alliance and joining the Rashtriya Janata Dal-led 'grand alliance'.

The Bharatiya Janata Party is hoping to come to power for the third consecutive time, while the opposition under the umbrella of India Bloc is trying to snatch power from the ruling party.

Lok Sabha elections were held in seven phases for 543 seats of the lower house. Counting of votes will take place on June 4.
