The deceased child, aged about three years, had gone to school, where he used to study tuition after school hours and when he did not return home till evening, the family members started searching for him. Police said his body was recovered from inside a tank in the school premises at 3 am today. After this the local people blocked the road and set the school on fire. The fire brigade reached the spot and brought the fire under control. Senior police officers reached the spot and started investigation.
Elaborating on the incident, Patna Superintendent of Police Chandra Prakash said, "The parents informed us late in the night after which our team reached the spot and started collecting evidence. In the CCTV we saw that the child was in the school. Was going to enter, but it didn't happen." He can be seen leaving the school premises...W will investigate it as a murder case as they were hiding the body and it shows criminal intent. We have detained three people. The inquiry is ongoing."
