PN Kolkata (West Bengal) [India], April 29: LaLiga has brought its grassroots football development program to India with an aim to train young and budding footballers through its methodology that has helped them to grace the global stage. Has produced some of the best Spanish talent. , The program has been designed by the Global Technical Director of LALIGA Academy with the help of a team from multiple countries. The aim of the program is to bridge the football cultures of different regions and add a powerful blend of Spanish flair and technique to Loca football. This team of experts includes Spain's Miguel Casal, who is the Technical Director of La Liga Academy Football School India Bhawanipur FC ProIndia Center of Excellence.
It has three principle areas of work * Providing AFC and LaLiga qualified coaches with a structured and equitable football curriculum created by the La Ligue Academy * Introducing Step Out Analytics, a Bengaluru-based company that manages the I-League's professional teams. The company has already started football analytics from grassroots level to youth level. Step Out will pass on its analytical information to coaches and scouts to aid in the overall progress of Indian football * Introducing a professional television channel as a platform to showcase academy matches, AIFF Blue Cubs and practice sessions across the country. Bhawanipur FC's Srinjoy Bose said, "Bhabanipur FC ProIndia will have multiple player development centers in various schools in multiple districts across West Bengal. AIFF scouts can pick talents from these centers and take them to our elite player development centre. And ultimately the players at the Bhawanipur FC ProIndia Center of Excellence will benefit from the holistic La Liga Academy curriculum as they are being trained for AIFF and IFA age-grade tournaments for the Under 13, Under 15 and Under 17 levels. According to Miguel Casal, technical director of LaLiga Academy India, “This is a special collaboration because no one in India has ever thought of starting professional analytics at the grassroots level. We are excited to contribute our course to the Bengal football ecosystem. I am sure that the scientific approach of Bhawanipur FC ProIndia will be a powerful catalyst for the effective growth of football. Bhawanipur FC ProIndia Academy CEO and Co-Founder Aparup Chakraborty highlighted the strong Spanish influence in Indian football, especially when I talk about importing our coaches from the land of Xavi and Iniesta. “Many teams in the Indian Super League (ISL) have Spanish coaches, who bring their tactical expertise and unique playing style. To structure this progression, the introduction of the Spanish football methodology at grassroots level is essential for early adaptation .By introducing young players to the Spanish system from an early age, we can better prepare them to pursue excellence under Spanish coaches later in their careers. This system will also help players avoid potential difficulties in adapting to a different system at the age of 21, an important developmental stage. We will also participate in domestic and global tournaments of different age groups like LaLiga Youth Tournament etc.In short, this project advocates a more scientific and systemic approach to training young footballers from the grassroots up so that Indian players can produce a generation of players who are comfortable and successful in that system.
