New Delhi, Popular singer Lucky Ali on Friday posted on social media that being a Muslim in today's world is lonely.

Although he did not elaborate on the context of his ex-post or comments, the Bengaluru-based singer said that Muslims are labeled as "terrorists" and shunned by their friends.

Ali, known for his songs, wrote, "It is a lonely thing to be a Muslim in the world today. It is a lonely thing to follow the Prophet's Sunnah, your friends will abandon you, the world will call you a terrorist." Like "O Sanam", "Ek Pal Ka Jeena", and "Hairat".

The singer, who is the son of late actor and comedian Mehmood, had recently accused an IAS officer and his family of land grabbing. Singer has filed a complaint with Karnataka Lokayukta regarding the matter.
