Farmers from Punjab and Haryana have gathered in Shambhu

The ongoing protests have completed 100 days to pressure the Center to accept their demands, including a legal guarantee of minimum support price (MSP) for crops.

Farmer leader Balbir Singh Rajewal has said that when P Modi comes to Punjab for campaigning, farmers will show him black flags. The decision in this regard was taken at a rally organized by Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM).

Raising the issue of protesting farmers a day earlier, Congress leader Rahu Gandhi in his first election rally in Mahendragarh, Haryana said, “The farmers of Haryana work in the fields of the country; Modi government took away your rights and abolished the Land Tribunal Bill to help billionaires; Three (agricultural) laws came, but the government had to step back.,

The Congress leader accused PM Modi of waiving off loans worth Rs 16 lakh crore of a few capitalists. “If Narendra Modi can waive off the loan of Rs 16 lakh crore of some capitalists of the country, then Congress will waive off the loan of farmers. We will give the same amount of money to the farmers, laborers and poor of the country as Narendra Modi gave to the billionaires.”

Without saying anything, he said, "Modi ji has said that waiving off farmers' loans will spoil their habits. Does loan waiver only spoil the habits of farmers, not billionaires? If waiving off farmers' loans and improving their lives is 'breaking the habit', then we will do it not just once, but again and again.

Meanwhile, heavy security has been deployed at PM Modi's election rally to prevent untoward incidents.
