Jammu: A Bangladeshi national, who appears to be mentally disturbed, has been detained at a forward village near the Line of Control (LoC) in Pallanwala area of Akhnoor sub-division here, officials said on Sunday.
He said an Army patrol spotted the man, who appeared to be a stray, at Lower Ko Myra in Khour area on Saturday and immediately took him into custody for questioning.
The man, who identified himself as Tafazzal Bablu (36) of Alupotti Natore area of Bangladesh, was handed over to the police for further investigation, officials said.
One Bangladeshi currency note, one coin, three SIM cards, one student card, Som Bill and one dairy were recovered from the possession of the detained person, he said.
