“I strongly believe in the fact that everyone should participate in the electoral process and exercise their right to vote. We all should contribute in electing leaders who will represent us in Parliament for the next five years, thus participating in nation building,” Ayushmann told IANS.

He said that it is very important for every person to vote.

The actor feels "honored and humbled" that the Election Commission of India roped him in to encourage India's youth to vote in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

He said, "We are a young nation and the youth should participate in what India will become in the next five years."

Ayushmann urged the people of Chandigarh to go out and vote.

The actor said, "I am going to my hometown Chandigarh to vote and I really urge the people of my city and the places where elections are being held on June 1, to please reach the polling stations to cast their votes. "

“Let us all be creators of our own future and show the world the power of our democracy.”

On the work front, Ayushmann will be seen alongside actress Sara Ali Khan in an action comedy produced by Karan Johar and Guneet Monga. Directed by Akash Kaushik, the project marks Ayushmann's first film with Karan Johar.
