Keonjhar (Odisha): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday alleged that an attempt was made to assassinate him by throwing bombs during the previous BJD government's rule.
Senior BJP leader Majhi made the remarks while addressing a felicitation function at Jhumpura in his home district Keonjhar.
“An attempt was made to kill me in a bomb blast in Mandua, Keonjhar. However, because of God’s blessings and people’s love I survived,” he said.
The Chief Minister said, "When Maa Tarini, Maa Durga, Lord Baldev and Lord Jagannath are with me, I have nothing to fear."
