A group of youth attacked the houses of former minister Kodali Sri Venkateswara Rao (Nani) and former MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi in Krishna district.

The attackers pelted stones at Vamsi's house in Vijayawada. They damaged two cars parked in front of the house and tried to enter the house. Some attackers climbed onto the car and challenged Vamsi to come out. The police intervened to prevent the situation from going out of control.

TDP people were raising slogans against Vamsi and warned that they would not spare him.He is TDP President N. Chandrababu was protesting against some comments made by Vamsi in the past against Naidu's wife Bhuvaneshwari.

Vamsi faced defeat in Gannavaram assembly constituency. He was elected from the same seat as a TDP candidate in 2019, but later joined the YSRCP.

Alleged TDP supporters also tried to attack Nani's house in Gudivada town.

Visuals circulated on social media showed miscreants throwing eggs towards Nani's house in the presence of police personnel. Some of them also tried to enter the house.

Nani had also recently lost the election from Gudivada assembly constituency.Following the attacks, police increased security at the houses of YSRCP leaders and intensified patrolling.

YSRCP alleged that its leaders and workers were attacked by TDP people after the TDP-Jana Sena-BJP alliance won the elections. Meanwhile, Jagan Mohan Reddy has alleged that the constitutional order has collapsed in the state and appealed to the Governor to intervene to stop attacks on his YSRCP leaders and supporters. He alleged that democracy was in danger due to Naidu's "political vendetta".

He alleged that YSRCP leaders and workers were being attacked by TDP people.He said there was no security for those contesting the elections as YSRCP candidates.

Meanwhile, Chandrababu Naidu, who is scheduled to take oath as the chief minister on June 12, asked TDP workers to remain alert about provocations and attacks by the YSRCP after the election results. He said that TDP workers should exercise complete restraint even if YSRCP people resort to provocation.He requested the police officers to take steps to maintain peace and law and order.
