He said that the conspiracy is threefold.

First, BJP is not allowing Haryana government to release Delhi's share of Yamuna water.

Second, he questioned BJP leaders for posing in front of broken water pipelines, linking the South Delhi Rising Mains.

Third, he alleged that none other than supporters of former BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri vandalized the Delhi Jal Board office in Chhatarpur, thereby disrupting law and order in the area.

"We have complained to the Delhi Police and I myself have sent the video (of the incident) to the South Delhi DCP. We will wait to see if the Delhi Police files an FIR against former BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri. “Take cognizance of the video and file an FIR against the BJP goons?” Atishi asked the question in the press conference held on Sunday.

Earlier in the day, Atishi urged the city police commissioner to deploy police personnel for patrolling and security of major water pipelines in the national capital for the next 15 days.

He said the Delhi Jal Board ground patrolling team reported a major leak in the South Delhi Rising Mains as several large 375 mm bolts and one 12 inch bolt were disconnected from the pipeline, leading to the leak.

“The fact that several large bolts were cut indicates foul play and sabotage. Our maintenance team worked continuously for six hours and repaired the leak, but it meant we had to stop pumping water for six hours. Another 20 MGD of water was not pumped during that time, as a result, South Delhi will experience 25 per cent water shortage,'' Atishi said in a letter posted on Twitter.
