New Delhi [India], A nationwide voluntary blood donation camp was organized by the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI) on 14 and 15 June in various hospitals across the country.
Dr. PS Sarangi, President, Delhi State Chapter of ASI, said that the objective of this program is to increase awareness about blood donation among the general public.
“Voluntary blood donation has been one of the best gifts that a human being can give back to the society. We as surgeons have always been the biggest indirect consumers of this precious commodity. Now it is time that we pay it forward or Facilitate through your noble efforts,” the association said in a release.
