The arrested person accused of involvement in rhino poaching has been identified as Hanif Ali.

He was arrested from Bharali Chapori area of ​​Sonitpur district on Thursday night.

According to the official, the Wildlife Welfare Association (WWA) has received the recovered rhino horn to verify its authenticity.

He added: "We are also trying to determine the time and place of the rhino's death and dehorning."
