Bhopal: In the Lok Sabha elections in Madhya Pradesh, BJP has won all 29 seats in the state including Congress stronghold Chhindwara, and out of the total 369 candidates in the fray, 311 have forfeited their deposits, officials said. Gave. Friday.

The most spectacular victory was recorded by the sitting BJP MP from Indore, Shankar Lalwani, who won the seat by the largest ever margin of 11,75,092 votes.Congress did not contest the Indore seat after its candidate Akshay Kanti Bam switched to BJP. The deposits of all the other 13 candidates in Indore were forfeited. BSP candidate Laxman Solanki got 51,659 votes and stood second in Indore, but his deposit was forfeited.

The Election Commission official said that SC, ST and OBC candidates will have to keep Rs 12,500 as security deposit, while general category candidates will have to pay Rs 25,000.
