According to Assam Rifles, troops have rescued around 500 civilians from remote villages of Vijaypur, Dharampur, Mudoi, Shrishtipur, Hanti Mara Beel and Chaukham.

"With unprecedented rainfall in Namsai and Changlang districts of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam Rifles launched Operation Savior to rescue stranded civilians and provide relief to flood-ravaged villages. Assam Rifles soldiers worked tirelessly and rescued around 500 civilians. Have saved."
