BJP registered a landslide victory by winning 46 out of 60 seats in the Assembly.

In March itself, BJP had won 10 seats unopposed in Arunachal, including the seats of Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also thanked the people of Arunachal Pradesh for reposing faith in the Bharatiya Janata Party and said the party will continue to work with even greater vigor for the development of the state.
