Leh/Jammu, Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General MV Suchindra Kumar on Wednesday visited forward areas along the Line of Control in Ladakh and asked the troops to be prepared for future challenges.
The Army Commander also visited the Kargil War Memorial in Dras and paid tribute to those who sacrificed their lives during Operation Vijay.
"Lt Gen MV Suchindra Kumar, Army Commander, Northern Command, along with GOC Fire and Fury Corps, visited the units deployed along the Line of Control and reviewed the operational preparedness of the Forever in Operations Division," the Northern Command wrote on X.
The Army Commander commended the troops for their high standards of professionalism and encouraged them to be prepared for future challenges.
During his visit to Batalik in Kargil sector, he also met formation commanders and soldiers. 5/25/2024 DV
