Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], Mumbai Esplanade Court on Friday sent the accused couple, who allegedly provided guns to the shooters in the Salman Kha House shooting case, to the Mumbai Crime Branch court till April 30. Two accused have been identified as Sonu. Police had arrested Subhash Chander and Anuj Thapan for their alleged involvement in the Salman Khan case. The two were accused of providing guns to shooters Vicky and Sagar, who fired several rounds outside the actor's house on April 14. Two men on a motorcycle fired four rounds outside Galax Apartment at around 5 am on April 14.And ran away. Both the accused were seen wearing caps and carrying backpacks in the CCTV footage, "They were arrested based on inputs which indicated that they had provided weapons to the other two accused. We told the court that we We did not come to Panvel, and we have nothing to do with Bishnoi. Only one person's surname is Bishnoi and he is being dragged into this.'' Earlier, Mumbai Police had arrested four people in the Firin case. A case was registered against the Bishnoi brothers naming them as the main accused under IPC sections 506(2) (threatening), 115 (incitement), and 201 (tampering with evidence).Mumbai Crime Branch officials revealed that gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his brother Anmol Bishnoi have been declared wanted accused in the case. Anmol Bishnoi claimed responsibility for the firing outside Salman's residence in a Facebook post after the attack. The accused are Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal. Officials said on Friday that earlier on Thursday, the Esplanade Court had extended the police custody of the accused arrested in connection with the firing incident till April 29. He was produced before the Metropolitan Magistrate's court here after his previous remand ended on Thursday.And he was sent to the custody of Mumbai Police Crime Branch. Earlier, the crime branch had again claimed to have recovered strong evidence against gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his brother Anmol Bishnoi, identified as the key conspirators and 'most wanted' in the case. According to Mumbai Crime Branch, the shooter had reached Salman's house four times before the firing stopped. The crime branch said they also targeted Salman's farmhouse as the actor had not visited his farmhouse for several days, so they planned to carry out the shootout outside the luxurious Galaxy Apartment residence in Bandra. According to officials, The Mumbai Crime Branch recovered a broken mobile handset from the accused at the time of their arrest, adding that they were in possession of more than one phone. The crime branch further said that they were also searching for another phone.He also informed about the recovery of another pistol with four magazines and 17 rounds from Tapi river in Surat. Authorities had previously said that they had recovered a pistol from the river on April 22 and also found footprints belonging to one of the arrested men. The shooter, Vic Gupta, while he was fleeing from Mumbai towards Bhuj in Gujarat. The crime branch said that while escaping, the shooters threw the guns into the Tapi river near Surat. Police said they were searching for more mobile handsets which he may have thrown into the river, adding that he deposited money in the bank several times.
