Antalya, Young Priyansh and experienced Abhishek Verma secured the fourth and fifth seeds to give India the top spot in the men's compound category of the Archery World Cup Stage 3 here on Tuesday.

Asian Games champion Jyothi Surekha Vennam finished second while world champion Aditi Swamy finished 10th while the women's compound team also topped the qualifying round.

Priyansh and Verma scored 710 points to finish fourth-fifth on the 10+X count, while Prathamesh Phuge (705) was the next best Indian at 20th.

India's men's team topped with 2125 points, ahead of Italy (2121) and France (2118).

Jyoti scored 705 points for second place, one point behind top-ranked Andrea Becerra of Mexico.

Aditi and Preneet Kaur (696 points) were the next best Indians at 10th and 14th position respectively.

In team placements, India (2100) finished ahead of Mexico (2098) and USA (2086).

All eyes will be on the Olympic discipline recurve archers who begin their campaign on Wednesday, aiming to clinch a team Olympic quota place in the rankings.
