New Delhi [India], Bharatiya Janata Party MP Anurag Thakur will begin the discussion on the motion of thanks on President Draupadi Murmu's address in the Lok Sabha on Monday.

Bansuri Swaraj, who became MP for the first time, will support this proposal.

On June 28, BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi initiated the discussion in Rajya Sabha.

Meanwhile, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju will move a proposal on election of committees in the Lok Sabha

Union ministers Jitendra Singh, Kirtivardhan Singh and L Murugan will table papers in the Rajya Sabha on Monday while Arjun Ram Meghwal, Pankaj Choudhary, Chandra Shekhar Pemmasani, Sukanta Majumdar and Raj Bhushan Choudhary will table the papers in the Lok Sabha.

There was uproar in both houses of Parliament on Friday over the ongoing controversy over the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET). There was no business in the Lok Sabha on Friday due to pressure from the Opposition to discuss alleged irregularities in NEET (National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test).

Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge came into the well of the House, drawing criticism from ruling MPs and the Speaker of the House.

The opposition is expected to again raise NEET concerns in both houses of Parliament today.
