Bhopal: Olympian Anjum Moudgil and Paris Olympic Games quota winner Swapni Kusale registered their first wins by winning the women's and men's 50m rifle 3-position events at the ongoing Olympic Selection Trials (OST) here on Thursday.

In the men's 50m rifle 3P final, Swapnil, who had finished second in the qualification round on Wednesday with a score of 587, shot 463.7 to fend off the challenge from Akhil Sheoran, who finished second with 461.6.

Local player and qualification topper Aishwarya Tomar finished third with a score of 451.9 and was eliminated after the 44th shot in the 45-shot final.

In the women's 3P final, Anjum scored 463.9 to finish second behind India's No. 1 Sift Kaur Samra by 1.5 points.

Aashi Chouksey secured third position in OST (Olympic Selection Trials) T3 with 447.3 points.

Olympian Manu Bhaker topped the women's 10m air pistol OST T3 qualification with a score of 577, followed by Palak (576), Isha Singh (576), Surabh Rao (574) and Rhythm Sangwan (573).
